Two British Pathe productions at MIP this year had to undergo serious last-minute editing after the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. Golden Years is a retrospective of the 50th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, coproduced with London’s Flashback Television. The Prince of Wales – A Century of Scandal examines the parallels between the three men who held that title this century. Strangely enough, George VII, the first of the princes, had an affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles’ grandmother.
