Once a film makes it to MIPCOM – once the buying and selling begins – it’s easy to forget that sometimes the story of how a film comes together is often as intriguing as what makes it to the screen. Highs. Lows. Unexpected pitfalls or revelations. These are what make every film an individual.

The stories making an appearance at this MIPCOM (October 2-6) are no different. They each took a unique path from the mind that conceived them to their final delivery. What follows are only four of those stories, a select group that profile everything from the giants of the jungle to the giants of the operating room.
