Washington, D.C.’s National Geographic has announced another round of appointments. Christine Kuppens takes the newly created post VP of programming. She will develop a scheduling strategy and negotiate commissions, copros and acquisitions. Lisa Perlbinder was named VP of marketing, responsible for marketing, sponsorship and promotional initiatives, while Russell Howard, new VP of brand strategies and communications, oversees the channel’s pr activities
