Effective May 1, Endemol Entertainment executive board member and head of international distribution Ruud Hendricks will resign from the company to pursue new opportunities. His successor has not yet been named.

Also at Endemol, U.K. creative head Peter Bazalgette has joined Channel 4 as a non-executive director. The position spans a three-year term and will not effect his duties at Endemol.

David Lawton has taken the post of CEO for a new company titled Manchurian Media, which will create interactive programming. The Quiz Channel is the company’s game show division and Jon Noel Bert is on board as content development director.

Formerly president of entertainment at the Fox Network, Doug Herzog has taken the post of president at USA Network. Herzog comes on board as Rob Sorcher resigns from his position as executive VP and general manager of USA Network.

Adrian Caddy has joined IFE Services in Manchester as director of acquisitions. Caddy was previously with Indigo Factual as head of science/nature and special projects.

New York’s Sekani has appointed Laurence E. Rebich chief sales and marketing officer.

Eduardo Ruiz, president of the Weather Channel Latin America has been promoted to president, international business development.

Two new hires at Lifetime Television: Tom Hanft joins as senior VP, marketing, advertising and promotion, and Gerry Logue, formerly president of Grey Entertainment in New York, is on board as senior VP and executive creative director.
