Neil Shapiro, exec producer of Dateline NBC, has succeeded Andrew Lack as NBC News president.

Marena Manzoufas has resigned from his post as general manager of Australia’s Beyond Distribution. Veronique Verges has been hired as VP of sales for Europe.

Canada’s IMAX Corporation has appointed Francis Joyce chief financial officer. He was previously with as VP, CFO and treasurer.

Christina Pochmursky has been named programming director of The Documentary Channel, a Canadian digital channel recently licensed by the CRTC. She will acquire, license and commission Canadian and international docs.

Patrick McNamee has been named senior VP and CIO of NBC Information Technology, chief quality officer and leader of NBC eBusiness initiatives.

Roland House in Arlington, U.S. has reorganized. Three new positions have been added to upper management following the departure of Hans and Julie Roland. Vince Forcier has been named VP of engineering and chief technology officer; Peggy Polito has been appointed VP of business development; and Ralph Quattrucci has taken the post of VP of editorial and creative services.

Miramax has promoted Maeva Gatineau to VP of acquisitions.

Lifetime Entertainment Services has promoted Bob Salazar from creative director to VP, network image.

Neville Meijers and Tom Keaveny have joined the Singapore-based Asia Pacific operations of Discovery Networks International. Meijers has assumed the role of managing director of Discovery Networks, Asia. Keaveny will report to Meijers in the newly created role of senior VP of sales and revenue for DNA.

Tech TV has been appointed Glen Farrell general manager and VP, web operations.

Therese Gamba has taken the post of VP, marketing for TNN: The National Network.

Montreal, Canada- based prodco La Fete has announced two new appointments: Murray Shostak has been welcomed to the newly created position of senior VP of corporate development, and Xiao Juan Zhou has been named VP of distribution. She replaces Jean Vezina.
