Granada reorganizes Content division

Simon Shaps, MD of Granada Content, has announced a division reorganization, including the appointment of two directors of programs.

U.K. media giant Granada has reorganized its management team in the wake of the company’s recent restructuring into two general divisions, Granada Platforms and Granada Content (see RS Plus, June 21, 2001) .

Simon Shaps, managing director of Granada Content, has named Grant Mansfield director of programs, Granada Content (south). Mansfield will be responsible for all factual and daytime programming, as well as two drama departments. The other director of programs is John Whiston, Granada Content (north).

Andrea Wonfor has been appointed creative director of Granada Content, with special responsibility for formats, childrens’, international drama and talent. John Willis is managing director, worldwide production, and Marcus Plantin is director of entertainment. In addition, John Cresswell has become Content’s COO; Chris Pye is commercial director; and Max Graesser is COO, Granada Broadband.
