Action Time gains a few and loses a few; HIT Wildlife promotes Phil Coles; and Style finds new head of programming.

U.K.-based producer/distributor Action Time is restructuring. As of October 1, Phil Trelease will assume the joint position of managing director of Action Time and commercial director of Carlton Entertainment. Action Time’s Caroline Beaton has been promoted to the newly created position of director of international business. The new Action Time board will include Steve Hewlett, director of programs for Carlton; Anne Bulford, finance director for Carlton Productions; Mark Wells, Carlton’s controller of entertainment; as well as Trelease and Beaton. Joint managing director Trish Kinane and executive producer Stephen Leahy will step down from their positions at the end of September.

Following its expansion into historical documentaries, HIT Wildlife has promoted Phil Coles to the position of acquisitions executive and in-house producer.

Bob Sitrick has been promoted from director of technical operations to VP of live production and special projects for Discovery Networks, U.S.

Following the restructuring of BBC Worldwide, Jeremy Mayhew has quit as director of new ventures and strategy at the pubcaster’s commercial arm.

Stephen Croncota, former senior VP of marketing for E! Entertainment TV and Style, has been tapped head of programming for Style, the 24-hour cable channel that focuses on lifestyle programming that includes fashion, beauty, home design and entertaining.
