The Fox Reality Channel has named David Lyle COO/GM. Formerly president of FremantleMedia, Lyle has also served at Pearson Television and Australia’s Nine Network. The channel will debut in more than 17 million U.S. homes this year.

Minnesota’s Giant Screen Theater Association has announced the appointment of Gretchen Jaspering as executive director. Mary Ann Henker leaves the position after four and a half years to pursue other interests.

Helsinki-based Matila Rohr Productions welcomes Timo Humaloja as the head of its new doc unit, MRPdocs.

National Geographic Television and Film has appointed stock footage industry veteran Jocelyn Shearer as director of sales for the National Geographic Film Library.

TWI has hired Richard Clemmow for the newly created role of head of factual programming, where he will expand the company’s non-sports business.

The Danish Film Institute appoints Jorgen Ramskov as CEO of production and development. Ramskov will be temporarily replaced as director of television at the Danish pubcaster DR TV by Lars Grarup, currently chief of DR1.

Peter Davey joins September Films to oversee factual and reality, replacing Sam Brick. Brick has moved to the company’s L.A. office to become executive VP, programming and development.

Toronto’s Harbourfront Entertainment has named Paula McLaren director of distribution. McLaren will oversee the sales of docs/factual properties related to the Signature Series. Prior to this, McLaren was associate publisher at RealScreen.

Oxford-based prodco Landmark Films has welcomed Jennifer Beamish to head up its science division. Beamish is a science producer with over 10 years of experience.

In June, Talkbackthames CEO Peter Fincham will leave the company to pursue other interests.
