Tiger Aspect may sound like a fierce name for the producers of Mr. Bean and Billy Elliot, or the equally meek-sounding non-fiction shows A Seaside Parish, House Auction and The Monastery, but tap knows its brand, and its audience, well – and has clawed its way to success, winning 29 awards for its shows over the years. The company produces dramas, docs, reality, children’s shows, wildlife shows (through Tigress Productions) and film (through Tiger Aspect Pictures). Chairman Peter Bennett-Jones founded the company as Tiger Television in 1988. In 1993, it merged with Aspect Film & Television and became Tiger Aspect Productions.
