Filmmaker Michael Lawrence is underway on a project about Bach in which world-class players perform their favorite piece by the composer and reflect on what he means to them.

The film has begun to stir up hype, with help coming from everyone from the Glenn Gould estate to Bach scholar Christoph Wolff. In December, a 10-minute clip had the honor of being screened at EG in LA.
