Though Sirhan Sirhan sits in the same California prison as Charles Manson, serving time for the 1968 assassination of presidential hopeful Bobby Kennedy, rumors of conspiracy and cover-up swirl around the case to this day. No one actually saw Sirhan’s gun near Kennedy’s head, as would be expected given the evidence; 10 shots were fired, though Sirhan’s gun only held eight; surveillance photographs show three senior CIA operatives at the crime scene, raising suspicions about who was behind the murder. As is the case with his brother’s assassination, the facts behind the murder of Bobby Kennedy have raised concerns in some circles.

Writer/director Shane O’Sullivan is one of those who don’t believe the official record. He’s conducted an exhaustive investigation to try to shed light on the assassination, hoping to reopen the case in time for the 40th anniversary of the assassination in June.
