Jennifer Bresnan, former SVP of alternative programming at The CW, will head up sister network CBS’s reality division, developing new reality programs and overseeing existing shows like Survivor and The Amazing Race.

She will replace Ghen Maynard, who left the division last week to assume a producer position at the network. Previously reporting to Maynard, Bresnan will now report to CBS president Nina Tassler.

For two years, Bresnan supervised production on series like America’s Next Top Model and Beauty and the Geek at The CW. Her experience pre-CW also includes producer duties on shows American Idol, The Swan, Paradise Hotel and Behind the Music.
