Animal Planet scores with Animal Witness

Despite being up against the Olympic closing ceremonies, the launch of Animal Planet's Animal Witness delivered 808,000 homes and 616,000 P25-54 viewers, the highest rating in that demo since January 2007's Steve Irwin specials Ocean's Deadliest and Crikey! What an Adventure. The premiere episode of Witness was called The Michael Vick Case.
