The hands-on home improvement network with the roster of expert talent is approaching the fall season with an Entourage star and a popular show that’s part blog, part construction.

DIY Network will bring back Blog Cabin, the 13-part show where diynetwork.com users design a cabin online, DIY talent build it and fans blog during the process, keeping viewers literally involved in the show. Its also a great way to plug DIY talent – a host/expert is showcased throughout Blog Cabin and off of that show, DIY will premiere many of the new shows that talent is also in. For example, if Matt Blashaw, who is a professional handyman, worked on Blog Cabin his new show Deconstruction will premiere after that.

The network is also reviving a special called Celebrity Rides. This edition, Dillon and the Rebel, has Entourage cast member Kevin Dillon setting out to build the famous Porsche Spyder driven by James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause.

DIY’s evolution over the past year and a half has also led to the successful Nailed at Nine campaign, a block of home reno shows, and new series like Renovation Realities.
