History HD launches in Japan

The History HD Channel continues to make its mark in Asia, with a Japan-based channel launch on October 1. The History Channel Japan Corp., a partnership of A&E Television Networks and Super-Network, Inc., will be in charge of programming, managing and operation of the high-definition channel. Barry Walsh is editor and content director for realscreen, and has served as editor of the publication since 2009.
