Greatest boxing match subject of Doc/Fest’s opening film

Thriller in Manilla will open this year's Doc/Fest on November 5 in Sheffield. In the John Dower-directed doc, Joe Frazier recounts his pivotal 1975 fight with Muhammad Ali. The over 140 docs aired during the fest will be categorized in strands like Regime Change, The Return of the Anti-Doc, Sports Docs and Music Docs, and two new strands, Arts Docs and Kinky Docs.
