NGCI and Government Information Office of Taiwan collaborate

National Geographic Channels International and Government Information Office of Taiwan are teaming up on a long-term partnership to create HD documentary production in Taiwan. Filmmakers will be able to produce up to nine hours of HD program for National Geographic Channels International's global network in the next three years. A selection of the co-funded, award winning Taiwan to the World films will premiere on the US National Geographic Channel early next year.

National Geographic Channels International and the GIO of Taiwan are working together to foster HD documentary production in Taiwan. NGCI will give Taiwan filmmakers the opportunity to produce nine hours for the global network and the US Nat Geo Channel will air two documentaries from the the co-funded, award winning Taiwan to the World. As well, a GIO-funded NGC Deaflympics will premiere in Asia on NGC in 2010. For more, see the release.
