Chris Palmer wears many hats. He is the director of the Center for Environmental Filmmaking at American University, the president of MacGillivray Freeman Films Educational Foundation and CEO of VideoTakes Inc. Still, he found time to come up with a few things people in the industry might not know about him and shared them with realscreen.

1. I was a boxing champion at high school in the 1950s and still work out daily by boxing.

2. I want to spend the rest of my life writing books on parenting, humor, and aphorisms.

3. Being a loving, capable and involved father to my three daughters didn’t come naturally to me; it was something I had to work hard at and learn.
