Canwest Global Communications denies media reports that it has begun attempts to sell off its controlling stake in Network Ten. An Australian news report said Canwest was looking to raise $258 million by shopping its 56.6% share in Australia's Network Ten, but a spokesman for Canwest calls the report 'sheer speculation.'

Canwest Global Communications denies media reports that it has begun attempts to sell off its controlling stake in Network Ten. An Australian news report said Canwest was looking to raise $258 million by shopping its 56.6% share in Australia’s Network Ten, but a spokesman for Canwest calls the report ‘sheer speculation.’
