Realscreen launches reality conference in LA

Realscreen announces the launch of a new reality-centric full-day conference to be held in Santa Monica on May 20th. Factual Entertainment Forum: The Real Deal will bring together broadcast and cable executives, producers, agents and other stakeholders in the reality TV/factual entertainment industry for a day of inspiration, discussion about the current state of reality TV and where it's going, and of course, networking.

Realscreen announces the launch of a new reality-centric full-day conference to be held in Santa Monica on May 20th. Factual Entertainment Forum: The Real Deal will bring together broadcast and cable executives, producers, agents and other stakeholders in the reality TV/factual entertainment industry for a day of inspiration, discussion about the current state of reality TV and where it’s going, and of course, networking.

Realscreen is in the early stages of confirming speakers, however topics the conference will examine include:

Building a Blockbuster: Network/cable execs, producers, agents and cast members discuss the process of creating a reality TV hit in a comprehensive case study.

Reality Roundtable: Network/cable execs, distributors, producers and agents discuss the current state of reality TV and where it’s going. John Saade, SVP Alternative Series, Specials & Late Night Programming for ABC and Robert Sharenow, SVP Alternative and Non-Fiction Programming, A&E Network, are already confirmed.

Innovations in Reality TV: Examining trends from ‘scripted reality’ (aka The Hills) to new competition-style formats to family-focused reality offerings and things we don’t even know about yet…
