MIPTV numbers down

MIPTV's delegates, buyers and exhibitors were all down compared to last year. A total of 11,500 delegates from 4,000 companies and 105 countries attended the event, marking a 14% decline. Organizer Reed Midem reported that buyer numbers were down by about 14%, at 3,800, and exhibitor totals were down seven to eight percent. MIPDOC saw a nine percent drop of registered companies and participant numbers were down 12 percent.
