MTV Networks International announces the launch of MTV Impact, an ‘events and experiences’ division. The division will be operated by the company’s Emerging Markets group which reaches throughout Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, and will serve the regions by planning and executing on-the-ground events. Neil Sharma has been appointed senior director of MTV Impact and is based in London. The new division has signed its first deal in Poland to launch and outdoor festival.
