Albert Maysles is the Silverdocs 2009 Guggenheim Honoree

Pioneer documentary filmmaker, Albert Maysles, will be honored at the Charles Guggenheim Symposium during the upcoming Silverdocs Documentary Festival. The Symposium will screen excerpts from Maysles' body of work, which numbers more than 35 films and 64 as a cinematographer and includes Gimme Shelter and Grey Gardens.
