Lightworks shuts its doors

New York-based Lightworks Program Distribution Inc. has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and no longer exists. The distributor's catalog included Hollywood Reporter and The World Series of Video Games. The website has also been suspended. The production arm of Lightworks, the Lightworks Producing Group, is unaffected.

New York-based Lightworks Program Distribution Inc. has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and no longer exists. The distributor’s catalog included Hollywood Reporter and The World Series of Video Games. The company’s website has also been suspended. LPD’s press contact relayed that president/CEO David Dreilinger does not want to comment on the bankruptcy filing but emphasized that Lightworks Producing Group, KPI and Lightworks Pictures are all healthy and functioning well.
