Discovery says show will go on for Pitchmen

The Discovery Channel has announced there will be a second season for Pitchmen, the series that featured infomercial kings Anthony 'Sully' Sullivan and the late Billy Mays. Produced by Original Productions, the format for the second season is being developed by Discovery Channel with Mays' son, Billy Mays III, Anthony Sullivan and Original Productions' CEO Thom Beers. No date has been set for the second season premiere. In the meantime, Discovery's special Pitchmen tribute to Mays that aired on July 9 will be repeated on July 24 at 10 p.m. ET.
