13th annual DocuWeeks coming to New York and L.A.

The International Documentary Association's DocuWeeks Theatrical Documentary Showcase is coming to New York City and Los Angeles, running from July 31 to August 20. This year's edition has expanded from one week to three, and will highlight 18 feature films and 10 short films from the United States, Russia, Australia, Nepal, Zambia, the United Kingdom, France and Norway. Barry Walsh is editor and content director for realscreen, and has served as editor of the publication since 2009. With a career in entertainment media that spans two decades, prior to realscreen, he held the associate editor post for now defunct sister publication Boards, which focused on the advertising and commercial production industries. Before Boards, he served as editor of Canadian Music Network, a weekly music industry trade, and as music editor for HMV.com.
