Two music icons will be making appearances at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. In support of Jonathan Demme’s concert doc The Neil Young Trunk Show, which will be screening at this year’s TIFF, Neil Young will be making an appearance at the festival. Joan Baez will also be appearing at the festival in support of her film American Masters: Joan Baez. Both films will screen for free in Toronto’s Yonge and Dundas Square along with other music docs such as Demme’s doc on the Talking Heads, Stop Making Sense, The Last Waltz, Leonard Cohen’s I’m Your Man and U2′s Rattle & Hum. TIFF runs from September 10 to 19.
