DOK Leipzig announces special programs

DOK Leipzig, held on October 26 until November 1, will feature Special Programs on contemporary African documentary film, the Peaceful Revolution of 1989 in Germany and Central Eastern Europe as well as on animators from the former GDR. As well, the event will honor Dutch docmaker Joris Ivens with an in-depth retrospective, in cooperation with the German Federal Film Archive.
