DOK Leipzig devotes retrospective to Joris Ivens

DOK Leipzig has announced the recipient of this year's retrospective is Dutch documentarian Joris Ivens. The retrospective falls on the 20th anniversary of Ivens' death, and will focus on Ivens' relationship to and with Germany. After DOK Leipzig is over, an extensive DVD collection of Ivens' films will be available, issued by Absolut Medien, DOK Leipzig and the Joris Ivens Foundation. DOK Leipzig runs from October 26 until November 1.

DOK Leipzig has announced the recipient of this year’s retrospective is Dutch documentarian Joris Ivens. The retrospective falls on the 20th anniversary of Ivens’ death, and will focus on Ivens’ relationship to and with Germany.
