DISCOP Africa’s second edition successful

DISCOP Africa's swift second edition in Nairobi - coming just six months after the inaugural edition in Senegal - has left the event's organizers optimistic with the number of delegates, 332 participants, who attended, as well as 90 broadcasters and Pay-TV platforms from 21 Sub-Saharan countries were in Nairobi for the three-day event. The event will change to have one annual edition of DISCOP Africa after DISCOP Africa 3, which is scheduled to return to Dakar, Senegal in February 2010.

DISCOP Africa’s swift second edition in Nairobi – coming just six months after the inaugural edition in Senegal – has left the event’s organizers optimistic with the number of delegates, 332 participants, who attended, as well as 90 broadcasters and Pay-TV platforms from 21 Sub-Saharan countries were in Nairobi for the three-day event. The event will change to have one annual edition of DISCOP Africa after DISCOP Africa 3, which is scheduled to return to Dakar, Senegal in February 2010.
