Planet Green names new creative director, marketing

Discovery's Planet Green has named Ben Rubin creative director, marketing for the environmentally focused lifestyle and entertainment brand. In his new role Rubin will be responsible for overseeing creative development of network branding, promotional campaigns and cross-promotional marketing initiatives. Rubin comes to the company from a previous role of VP of marketing and creative services for Rush HD and VOOM HD where he was responsible for conceiving, developing and implementing promotional, branding and marketing initiatives for the two HD channels. Rubin will now report to Rob Jacobson, SVP marketing for Planet Green.
