‘Twist & Shout’ heads to France, Romania and Germany

Unconventional singing talent show Twist & Shout is getting global interest, with license of the entertainment format going to Virgin 17 in France, Antena 1 in Romania and Studio Hamburg in Germany optioning the format with several German broadcasters showing interest. Zodiak Entertainment Distribution reports that Twist & Shout has been successful since launching at MIPCOM 2008, and now has licenses in Indonesia, Middle East, Turkey and the Philippines and has been optioned in 12 territories including Channel 9 in Australia.
