September Films follows up ’650 lb Virgin’ for TLC

DCD Media-owned September Films will be returning to the life of 31-year-old David Smith after the first documentary special, 650lb Virgin, was the highest rated doc for TLC in 2009. The network has commissioned September Films for the new one-hour doc, 650lb Virgin: The Weight is Over, which continues Smith's tale of morphing from a morbidly obese loner to a healthy, happy fitness instructor. In the new doc, Smith looks to find love and help others lose weight. It premieres on November 29 on TLC.
