Paul Johnson leaving Endemol by end of year

Global production and distribution entity Endemol has announced that its global head of marketing and brand partnerships, Paul Johnson, is leaving the company after less than a year.

Global production and distribution entity Endemol has announced that its global head of marketing and brand partnerships, Paul Johnson, is leaving the company after less than a year. Johnson was brought on to help oversee the rebranding of the Endemol Group and the launch of its distribution arm, Endemol Worldwide Distribution. While he’s leaving at the end of this year, he’s expected to continue working with the company on a consulting basis. ‘Endemol is one of the most creative and dynamic companies in the industry and has undergone significant growth and development over the course of 2009,’ Johnson said in a statement. ‘As the business has changed so too have Endemol’s strategy and structure. As a result, I’ve concluded that the time is right for me to move on.’ Endemol Group chairman/CEO Ynon Kreiz said, ‘We will miss his energy, dedication and motivation, which have been second to none.’ Johnson’s duties will be taken on by chief commercial officer Tom Toumazis.
