UK distributor DCD Rights is getting into the burlesque game after nabbing the rights to Immodesty Blaize: Burlesque Undressed. The 90-minute documentary tells the real story of the genre, from its origins to its 21st century revival, and stars Europe’s queen of burlesque Immodesty Blaize. The doc was produced by EMI, Nightfall Films, and written/directed by Alison Grist and is set for a UK theatrical release in January 2010.
