Channel 4′s head of factual entertainment, Andrew Mackenzie, is leaving the post to take up the role of group creative director at indie prodco Twofour Broadcast. Mackenzie will report to the company’s managing director Melanie Leach, who offered this statement regarding bringing him on board: ‘He has an enviable reputation as both a commissioner and a program maker and an unrivaled track record in conceiving and delivering thought-provoking, intelligent factual and entertainment formats.’ Mackenzie had been with Channel 4 for over six years, first as a commissioning editor and taking the fact ent head position in 2007. No announcement has been made at C4 regarding a replacement.
