Michael Ghent joins Make Believe Media team

Vancouver-based prodco Make Believe Media has added to its executive team with the addition of Michael Ghent as VP, factual entertainment. He will lead the factual team with a wealth of experience from both the production and broadcast side of the industry. Ghent was previously a production executive for Canwest Global Broadcasting, and has served as development and production executive on 500 hours of factual, scripted, tabloid and lifestyle content for Global, E!, Mystery, History, National Geographic Canada, IFC, TvTropolis, HGTV and the CBC, among others. He was also the creative director for The Film & TV Forum of the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2009 and has served on the boards of the Whistler Film Festival, the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television and The Forum of the VIFF.
