Nat Geo Wild channel set for U.S. launch

Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Wild HD will debut in the U.S. as a replacement for Fox Reality Channel on March 29. Nat Geo Wild is a joint venture between Fox Cable Networks and National Geographic Ventures.

Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Wild HD will debut in the U.S. as a replacement for Fox Reality Channel on March 29. Nat Geo Wild is a joint venture between Fox Cable Networks and National Geographic Ventures. The programming on the channel will include new series Rebel Monkeys, where some charismatic monkeys take to the streets in Jaipur, India, and Expedition Wild with Casey Anderson, featuring the exploits of the naturalist and his best friend Brutus, a 900-pound grizzly bear. Other titles includes Africa’s Lost Eden, Shark Island with Enric Sala, Hunt for the Giant Octopus and Mystery Gorillas with Mireya Mayor.
