France Télévisions Distribution has sold its globally successful series Apocalypse: The Second World War to the UK's Channel 4.

France Télévisions Distribution has sold its globally successful series Apocalypse: The Second World War to the UK’s Channel 4. The series, produced by Paris-based Clarke, Costelle & Co. with France 2, NHK Japan, Smithsonian Channel in the U.S., National Geographic Channel International and NDR-ARD, is expected to air in the UK this year. To date, the program has been sold to networks in 33 countries. Meanwhile, on the DVD front, sales for the Blu-Ray set have set records in France and French-speaking Belgium and Switzerland, where it’s moved over half a million copies.
