Endemol has named Steve Copestake, former SVP of international marketing at Disney-ABC-ESPN Television, as its global head of marketing. During Copestake’s seven-year run at Disney, he led the marketing and research operation for the company’s TV distribution business, representing such smash TV properties as Lost, Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy, and also worked on the international roll-out of the Disney Channel’s live action franchises. At Endemol, he will be tasked with managing all of the company’s marketing activities, focusing on global entertainment formats and also working closely with Endemol Worldwide Distribution on finished programming. He starts the job on March 29.
