Somerville, MA-based production company Powderhouse Productions is planning to meet increased demand with a redesign and rebuild of its current production studios. The expansion makes room for a new production and post-production collaboration platform, Avid Interplay. Powderhouse currently has five series in production for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Science Channel and History Channel, and more in development.
