Discovery Communications nabs global rights to ‘Sarah Palin’s Alaska’

Former governor Sarah Palin will present the wonders of Alaska to TLC's audiences, Discovery Communications has announced.

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin will present the wonders of Alaska to TLC’s audiences, Discovery Communications has announced. Discovery has acquired the global rights to the eight-part documentary series, Sarah Palin’s Alaska (w/t), executive produced by Mark Burnett. In Discovery’s press release, TLC’s president and general manager Eileen O’Neill says, ‘We are confident Sarah Palin’s Alaska will be another compelling television event’. The series marks Mark Burnett Productions first project at Discovery since 1996-1999 series Eco-Challenge.
