Banijay International has announced a brand new format that has been commissioned for a pilot by U.S. broadcaster Fox as well as its debut slate of programming for MIPTV.

Banijay International has announced a brand new format that has been commissioned for a pilot by U.S. broadcaster Fox as well as its debut slate of programming for MIPTV. Banijay Entertainment’s format My Parents Gonna Love You, produced by Banijay’s U.S. prodco Angel City Factory, follows a woman tricking her parents by introducing them to her ‘boyfriend’, who is actually a famous celebrity. The broadcast pilot is currently being produced. Other formats set to launch at MIPTV include a revival of the celebrity primetime show Who’s Who?, extreme reality format 71 Degrees North from Nordisk Film in Norway, workplace reality series Guides in Paradise also from Nordisk Film in Denmark and new reality format The Missionaries, where five troubled teenagers are sent abroad to face real-life poverty, produced by La Concepteria, Pitch Productions and TF1 production for TF1. Also coming to MIPTV is factual documentary series The Seven Killings from Danish production company Selskabet A/S. Each episode of the seven-part series goes in depth with one real-life murder case.
