Doc Week to run alongside Edinburgh International Film Festival in June

The Scottish Documentary Institute and Initialize Films have announced the launch of Doc Week (June 15-20, 2010) which will run alongside the Edinburgh International Film Festival (June 16-27, 2010) for the first time.

The Scottish Documentary Institute and Initialize Films have announced the launch of Doc Week (June 15-20, 2010) which will run alongside the Edinburgh International Film Festival (June 16-27, 2010) for the first time. Doc Week will feature such components as the annual Edinburgh Pitch, documentary case studies, ‘Doc in Progress’ consultancies, the Docs 360 Pitch and opportunities for meetings and briefings with documentary experts, sales agents, distributors, and producers. The Edinburgh pitch takes place from June 15-17, and already has Doris Hepp, ZDF-Arte (Germany); Greg Sanderson, BBC Storyville (UK); Simon Kilmurry, POV (USA); Autlook Filmsales (Austria) and Scottish Screen (UK) confirmed to take part.
