Discovery appoints head of international business

Discovery Communications has announced the appointment of John Honeycutt to the new role of executive vice president and head of international business operations for Discovery Networks International(DNI).

Discovery Communications has announced the appointment of John Honeycutt to the new role of executive vice president and head of international business operations for Discovery Networks International(DNI). Honeycutt has been with Discovery for seven years, contributing to the global roll-out of the company’s HD services and is now playing a key role in leading the company’s efforts to prepare for the launch of Discovery’s 3D joint venture with Sony and IMAX. Based in London and working closely with the programming, ad and affiliate sales, digital media, research and information technology divisions, Honeycutt will be responsible for leading implementation plans that will influence a wide range of cross-functional teams.
