Comcast Entertainment Studios, the production arm of Comcast International Media Group, is debuting internationally at MIPTV. CES has had a domestic U.S. presence for over eight years, but this marks the first time that international broadcast, cable and satellite networks are able to commission content. CES produces over 1,100 hours of programming a year in the entertainment and lifestyle genres and controls over 700,000 hours of film and celebrity footage and interviews. Additionally, the company boasts 15,000 new media short-form videos each year. CES produces content for Comcast brands E! Entertainment Television, The Style Network and G4, but also develops series and specials for other U.S nets, including ABC, the Game Show Network, and TLC (Miss America: Behind the Curtain). Series currently in development include Fake or Real, a comedy game show about plastic surgery which will be offered as a format at MIPTV.
