Reality format Save My Holiday, already a huge hit in Belgium and The Netherlands, has been sold to BBC One Daytime by Zodiak Entertainment. The 15 x 45-minute series, which brings in experts to save people from their miserable hotels, food or hotel staff while on vacation, will be developed and produced as a brand new series for the UK by Diverse Production, part of the Zodiak Entertainment Group. The Dutch version, which airs on SBS6 in the Netherlands, was produced and created by Zodiak Entertainment’s Palm Plus and has brought in significant audiences for two successful seasons, and is commissioned for a third. Belgium’s VTM has also commissioned its second series.
