Sundance Channel gets first satellite feed in Europe

Rainbow Media has announced the launch of Sundance Channel on satellite feed Eurobird 9a, marking the channel's first satellite transmission in Europe. UPC Poland is the first European operator to tap into the feed, with plans to launch the HD channel in May, as a 24/7 linear channel with a VOD companion. The English-language channel will feature Polish subtitling. Sundance Channel is already transmitted in France and Belgium via fiber optic cable.
