AETN International's short-form catalog has international media companies interested, with many licensing deals announced from MIPTV.

AETN International’s short-form catalog has international media companies interested, with many licensing deals announced from MIPTV. PopcornTV in Italy has licensed 100 Biography channel short-form pieces for its VOD service, including Celebrity Fact or Fiction, Soccer Stars and more. Israel’s Mobile 1 Cellular Communications has signed on for over 50 Biography clips. Chinese National Geography is in a trial partnership with AETN International to launch AETN content on China’s cellular mobile platform, with clips from Biography, BioBites and Need to Know. In Canada, Canwest has licensed short-form content for its broadband platforms to run in conjunction with the AETN International series and specials airing on Canwest’s linear channels. Lastly, History Germany will air short-form clips, including Beyond the Big Bang, How the Earth Was Made and Jurassic Fight Club, as on-air interstitials and on the channel’s website.
