Scorpion TV wins MIPTV Content 360 competition

Scorpion TV, the specialist prodco and content distributor launched at MIPCOM last October, has taken top honors at MIPTV's Content 360 branded content competition.

Scorpion TV, the specialist prodco and content distributor launched at MIPCOM last October, has taken top honors at the recent MIPTV Content 360 branded content competition. Their winning concept for the contest, sponsored by global ad agency Ogilvy and Coca-Cola and with a theme of ‘Engaging with teens through branded content’ for the brand, was ‘The Win Win Show.’ The program will feature six teens from across Europe living together in a house, tasked each week with completing a project that will benefit their local community. The winner of the show’s competition will be the teenager who gets the most points for helping everybody else to complete the tasks. The dream project will then be realized in their community with help from Coca Cola. ‘We had a huge passion and belief in this idea from day one, especially as it came from teenagers themselves,’ said Scorpion TV MD David Cornwall. ‘Teens have a desire to share and work together. We are absolutely delighted that our hard work has paid off and we are very excited to be working with Coca Cola and Ogilvy to bring the idea to life.’
